There is a right way and a wrong way to create a page and a document. Each page should be easy to read. Each page is a step in communicating your message. Building a document is telling a story. A good story tells a message; a great story lures the reader in and greats excitement.
I cannot tell you how many times I have heard "...and then throw some photos on the page." You don't fill a page with content until it's full. Tease the imagination, make the audience think. Make them want to turn the page.
Is print dead?
Despite the wide acceptance of the internet, print is arguably the stronger medium.
There is so much more you can do with a tactile product, and often, the impact is greater.
Once a user leaves your website, your concept is only a memory.
A newsletter, pamphlet or brochure, while often left laying on a table or desk,
still provides a visual presence.
Print is wonderful. You can touch it, feel it and smell it. It's lovely.
